Growing Up

My father was in the army. I grew up in a place called Petawawa in southern Ontario until I was 14 and then my father left the army and we moved to Thompson Manitoba. I lived there until I went away to school.

Thompson was an interesting, smaller community and very closely knit. There were a lot of outdoor activities around, which was great. Their lakes are only twenty minutes away. It was a lot quieter, a lot slower paced. It was nice in that sense.
