My Job
Lots of Variety
Lots of VarietyAs an industrial mechanic I do a lot of troubleshooting and repair to machinery.
But there's a wide range of responsibilities and skills that you can acquire in this trade: machine mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, some electrical (if you're in a union shop), pipefitting, heating and cooling systems and even working with cranes sometimes.
It's amazing how many different things you can do in this work.
