One night, as soon as I walked into the plant my Lead Hand caught up with me and said we had a breakdown on one of our important machines.

The soft-former glues plastic edges onto particle board. Glue from the melting pot had run over and gummed up a chain and a bunch of sprockets. When it cooled down, everything was seized up.

I was elected to take this apart, clean it out and get it back up and running. It took most of the night.
