Dealing with anyone in my job, whether they report to me or I report to them, is all about the facts.

You've got to make sure you get the facts - no generalizations. Make sure that you can prove whatever you say and you shouldn't have any problems.

If it's an actual fact you're stating, the person can use that information to complete his task.
